Angel Stadium Rules

Angel Stadium has several rules and regulations that need to be followed to ensure the safety of attendees, staff members, and players.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the most important policies so you can thoroughly prepare for a day out at Angel Stadium.

Security

As is the case with all Major League Baseball ballparks, visitors pass through metal detectors at the gates of the ballpark.

When passing through the metal detectors, you will need to remove the following items from your person:

  • Cameras
  • Cases for sunglasses
  • Any large metal objects

You do not need to remove these items from your person when passing through the metal detectors:

  • Belts
  • Cell phones
  • Coins
  • Jackets
  • Jewelry
  • Shoes
  • Wallets
  • Watches

There is a strict policy prohibiting carriers, bags, and backpacks inside Angel Stadium. However, after thorough inspection, these bags are an exception to this rule:

» Bags that carry medical or other necessities, such as diaper bags.

» Plastic or vinyl clear bags that are no larger than 12.75 inches by 6.5 inches by 12.75 inches. These bags must not have any obscured interior pockets.

» Any bags or purses that have a single zipper flap or closure and are 12 inches by 12 inches or smaller.

If you try to enter the stadium with a bag that is not allowed, you will be asked to put it in your vehicle (if you drove to the stadium). If you don’t have a vehicle, you may be denied entrance.

Bags that do meet the size guidelines will be searched before you can enter Angel Stadium. Keep in mind that there are also no bag storage facilities, so you will need to keep your approved bag on your person at all times.

Upon re-entry, you will be screened for security purposes again. If the respective gate is closed, all guests including re-entries will be directed to the Home Plate Gate for screening. However, please take note that re-admittance is not allowed after the 7th inning.

Emergency procedures

If an emergency occurs, any necessary directions will be displayed on the video board. Announcements will also be made on the public address system in the stadium.

All guests are asked to stay calm and listen to instructions given by the Angel Stadium guest services representatives. The representatives have training in emergencies and evacuations.
